Position: DBA / Sr. DBA / Team Lead DBA

Department: IT- Enterprise Data Management

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

TPL has come a long way since its inception. Starting from Tracking and Asset Management, TPL has been widely successful in diversifying its impact portfolio, ranging from Real Estate and Security Services to Venture Capital and General Insurance.

Currently, we are looking for the services of an energetic, enthusiastic, and result-oriented professional for the position of Senior/Team Lead Database Administrator

Qualification and Professional Experience:

The ideal candidate should be a Bachelor's in Computer Science / Computer Engineering having 3-6 Years of relevant experience

Required Skills

· Database administration on Oracle/SQL Server Database

· He/she should have relevant work experience in 24/7 operation

· Ready to learn new technologies such as NoSQL/Data Pipelines

· Ready to learn other RDBMS MySQL/PostgreSQL

· Hands on Performance tuning/Queries optimization

· Diagnostic and Troubleshooting experience

· Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting experience on OS level

· Basic SQL Queries Hands-On

· High Availability/Replication/Log transportation experience

· Backup and Recovery procedures

Would be an advantage:

  • Masters in Computer Science/Business Administration/Information Technology
  • ITIL/PRINCE2 Foundation training/Certification
  • Any vendor-specific RDBMS certification e.g. OCA, OCP, MCITP, MCTS
  • Programming experience on any language such as Java/Python
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business application Apps DBA Role
  • Basic Functions/View/Store Procedure development
  • MongoDB/Redis/MySQL Administration
  • Hands on Oracle Data Guard and RAC implementation
  • Oracle/SQL Server Database Up gradation/Migration experience
  • Disaster Recovery site implementation experience
