Location: DHA Phase VIII, Karachi.

Working Hours : Monday to Friday (09:00 AM to 05:00 PM)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Biodiversity to strengthen our environmental and conservation programs. The role requires technical expertise in biodiversity monitoring, species identification, and field survey management, combined with strong analytical and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise marine and terrestrial biodiversity surveys, ensuring accurate species identification, and standardized data collection.

Implement biodiversity monitoring in line with project protocols.

Compile, review, and submit biodiversity monitoring reports within defined timelines, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Analyze and interpret data, providing detailed scientific and analytical inputs for reporting and publications

Maintain comprehensive biodiversity records, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with internal and external stakeholder requirements.

Introduce and apply innovative technologies and tools for biodiversity assessments, field measurements, and conservation practices.

Coordinate and manage field survey logistics, including approvals, resources, and team mobilization, to ensure smooth execution of biodiversity monitoring activities.

Support the line Manager in the development of annual biodiversity strategies, work plans, and budget.

Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master's in Wildlife Conservation, Ecology, Zoology or related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience in biodiversity conservation/wildlife research.

Strong species identification knowledge (birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians).

Skills in data analysis, reporting & biodiversity documentation.

Experience with field survey techniques, camera traps & drones preferred.

Good communication & stakeholder engagement skills.
