Job Overview

The Executive OSP Planning is responsible for reviewing and finalizing ODN designs prepared by contractors to fulfill large FTTH requirements and small commercial projects. The role ensures network planning using best practices and products while maintaining accurate project databases for all OSP activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and finalize ODN designs prepared by design contractors.
  • Verify BoQs and recommend budget loading based on approved designs.
  • Ensure compliance with GPON standards and OSP implementation practices.
  • Prepare project trackers and maintain project records.
  • Collaborate with survey and design teams for appropriate ODN component selection.
  • Verify BoMs according to finalized ODN designs.
  • Utilize design software (ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Google Earth) for planning and design.
  • Provide technical support to deployment teams, regional planning, and operations.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of FTTH network design and deployment.
  • Familiarity with telecom industry challenges in the FTTH domain.
  • Awareness of emerging telecom technologies and advancements.
  • Understanding of greenfield and brownfield FTTH deployment models.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Google Earth, and MS Office.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
