The Senior Design Architect is responsible for leading the conceptualization, design, and execution of architectural projects, ensuring that design solutions meet client expectations, functional requirements, and aesthetic standards. This role involves overseeing design teams, managing project timelines, and collaborating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-quality architectural solutions.

Role Description / 役割

  • Lead the design process from conceptualization to final execution for architectural projects.
  • Develop and present design proposals, architectural drawings, 3D models, and visualizations.
  • Ensure designs meet client needs, regulatory requirements, and sustainability standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior architects and design team members.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to integrate structural, MEP, and landscape considerations.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Conduct design reviews, quality checks, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Stay updated on architectural trends, materials, and technologies to inspire innovative designs.

  • 構造、設備(MEP)、ランドスケープの要素を統合するため、エンジニア、施工業者、コンサルタントと協働。
  • プロジェクトのスケジュール、予算、リソース配分を管理。
  • デザインレビュー、品質チェックを実施し、ベストプラクティスの遵守を確保。
  • 建築トレンド、素材、技術の最新情報を把握し、革新的なデザインに反映。

Qualifications / 応募資格

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in architectural design, preferably in commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
  • Proven expertise in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative and functional design solutions.
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • Excellent project management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Japanese) are advantageous for international projects.

  • 建築法規、施工基準、持続可能なデザインに関する知識。
  • 卓越したプロジェクト管理、リーダーシップ、メンタリングスキル。
  • クライアントやステークホルダーにデザインコンセプトを効果的に伝えるプレゼンテーション能力。
  • 多職種チームとの協働および複数プロジェクトの管理能力。
  • 国際プロジェクトでは英語/日本語のバイリンガルスキルが望ましい。
