Group Accountant - Payables

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Payment processing – via cheques / Electronic Bank Transfers accurately and timely and ensuring all payments are in accordance with company policies.

· Supplier Payments.

· Rent Payments.

· Custom Duty.

· Taxes (Sales Tax, Income Tax, Sindh Sales Tax, Professional Tax, Vehicles tax, Property Tax)

· Insurance Payments.

· Salary Payments.

· Tender related Payments (Bid Security, Security Deposit, Tender Fee)

· Other payments.

  1. Recording / adjustments/ reimbursement of Companies expense accurately & timely.

  2. Maintaining organized AP documentation and support records / files.

  3. Reconciling and reviewing AP aging monthly, including following up to close any open AP invoices that are over a month old.

  4. Filling of SRB Return Monthly.

  5. Filling of WHT statement Income Tax quarterly.

  6. Supporting External Auditors during Annual Audit.

  7. Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve payment discrepancies or disputes.

  8. Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements

  9. Any other work assigned by Seniors.

Key Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance.

  2. 2–4 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.

  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems

  4. Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, account reconciliation, and payment cycles.

  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50, Rs70,000.00 per month
