We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Student Counsellor specializing in student placement. The role focuses on guiding students in their academic and career pathways, assisting with university/college applications, and ensuring successful placement in suitable institutions, both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one counselling sessions to students regarding academic programs, admission requirements, and career options.
  • Guide students in selecting appropriate courses, universities, and career paths based on their interests, strengths, and aspirations.
  • Assist students in preparing applications, resumes, statements of purpose, and supporting documents.
  • Maintain strong relationships with universities, colleges, and training institutes to stay updated on admission policies, deadlines, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Organize workshops, information sessions, and career fairs to connect students with higher education institutions.
  • Support students through visa application guidance and pre-departure orientations (if applicable for international placement).
  • Track and report on student progress, applications, and placement outcomes.
  • Collaborate with parents, faculty, and academic departments to ensure holistic student development and informed decision-making.
  • Stay updated on educational trends, career opportunities, and global admission processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in student counselling, placement, or academic advising (experience with international placements preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of higher education systems, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities (local & international).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to empathize with students, understand their needs, and provide tailored guidance.
