Key deliverables:

The Assistant Manager Finance & HR will be responsible for processing, maintaining, and supervising all HR, payroll, and financial support activities within the project office. This includes managing employee data, ensuring accurate payroll execution, handling allowances and deductions, overseeing petty cash, and coordinating with Head Office to resolve HR, payroll, and accounts-related matters. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective communication to support smooth HR and finance operations.

  • HR Data Processing
  • Manage and update records of joiners, re-joiners, and leavers.
  • Process salary holds, deductions, promotions, demotions, and transfers.
  • Maintain focal teacher allowances and full & final settlement data.
  • HR Records & Verification
  • Collect and verify HR ( hard and or soft) files.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the ERP system.
  • Payroll & Salary Management
  • Update salary deductions and hold status in ERP.
  • Supervise and resolve salary-related issues.
  • Update HBL accounts in ERP for salary disbursements.
  • Wages & Attendance
  • Process sweeper (AYA) wages requests.
  • Monitor and report sweeper (AYA) wages status of the previous month.
  • Issue attendance certificates as required.

  • Budgeting & Financial Management

  • Prepare annual project budget and submit to Project Head
  • Prepare monthly expense sheets and budget vs. expense reports.
  • Handle project office petty cash requests, processing, and reimbursements.
  • Supervise district and field staff petty cash and ensure timely reimbursements.
  • Process operational advances of districts and project office and ensure timely submission of adjustments to HO
  • Employee Performance & Benefits
  • Support annual appraisals processing.
  • Manage and process Health Takaful (insurance) data.
  • Coordinate with HO for the administration of benefits of staff: leave, health, death, and disability.
  • Coordination & Support
  • Liaise with Head Office HR, Payroll, and Accounts departments to resolve on-going issues.
  • Liaise with district office staff for smooth functioning of the related activities and tasks
  • Perform any other assignments as directed by the Head of projects.

Qualification & experience:

B.Com./Bachelors degree of relevant subject. However, Master degree will be preferred. At least 3 years experience of similar nature of duties /field.
