About the role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Intern to help grow our pipeline for finance, accounting, and other related services. You will research prospects, find and qualify leads on LinkedIn, and support senior team members with outreach, meetings, and proposals.
Key responsibilities
- Research and build target lists on LinkedIn using searches, filters, and boolean queries
- Send connection requests and first touch messages that follow our guidelines
- Qualify leads by industry, size, and fit, then hand off to seniors for next steps
- Keep our tracker or CRM updated with notes, stages, and follow ups
- Schedule discovery calls and prepare light pre call briefs for seniors
- Draft simple outreach copies and follow up reminders for review
- Track weekly KPIs such as connections, replies, and meetings booked
Must have skills
- Basic understanding of LinkedIn growth and outreach strategies
- Clear written English and professional tone in messages
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Comfort with Google Sheets or Excel for tracking work
- Proactive attitude and ability to follow structured playbooks
Nice to have
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Experience in B2B services or agency lead generation
- Interest in accounting, finance, or professional services
