Finance Manager

As the Finance Manager at Nao Medical, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations and supporting the company's continued growth. Reporting to the CEO and senior leadership, you will oversee financial operations, including reporting, planning, and analysis, while driving improvements in processes and controls. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

• Ownership of the Finance Function: Take ownership of day-to-day finance operations and help implement best practices to strengthen our growing finance function

• Financial Oversight

• Oversee the full accounting cycle and general ledger across all clinics, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closes and financial integrity.

• Close financials within 10 days of the month end and provide comprehensive financial reporting, including consolidated financial statements and site-by-site reporting.
• Create accurate budgets at the site and department level and maintain cost discipline across the organization

• Treasury & Cash Management

• Maintain a long-term and 13-week operational model (including cash flow forecast)

• Oversee accounts payable, vendor relationships, and net working capital to ensure healthy cash flow.

• Analysis & Reporting

• Provide actionable insights to the Vice President of Finance and senior leadership to support business strategy and capital allocation.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement stronger financial controls.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
• CPA / CFA / Master's degree is preferred but not required

Experience and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping /accounting fields
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (or experience leading an ERP implementation)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization
• Experience in corporate finance, financial planning, or exposure to consulting/investment banking is a plus but not required.
• Maniacal attention to detail

Schedule Requirements:

• Ability to work using Eastern Time, from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday, Including Holidays.

Technical Requirements:

• Reliable wired internet connection (100 Mbps minimum).
• Computer/laptop with Intel Core i5 or Ryzen 5 processor, 8GB RAM minimum, and 128GB free storage.
• Dual-screen setup preferred for enhanced productivity.
• Operating system: Windows 10 or macOS (latest version).
• Clear webcam (1080p or higher resolution) and microphone for communication.
• Backup systems for electricity and internet outages.
