Job Purpose
- Executive Fixed Products will be the owner of Fixed data product and will be responsible for development & Life cycle management of Fixed Line products. This is a specifically designed Techno-commercial role.
Job Responsibilities
- Fixed data products strategic planning to retain significant position among fixed data and industry players
- Managing fixed data portfolio commercially and technically for Partnerships and Solutions, DIA, DPLC, IPLC, Shared Internet in close liaison with Sales, Engineering, Regional ESS and other support teams.
- Close liaison working with NP, NOMC, CBSC, RESS, IT, Finance, Legal, Regulatory and other stakeholders regarding Fixed products support and compliance related matters.
- End to end design, feasibility analysis, pricing and commercial launch of new products related to fixed domain.
- Fixed products pricing.
- Partnership and alliances management for growth in revenue of fixed portfolio
- Industry needs analysis, customer feedback, surveys and competitors' analysis
- Driving sales teams by devising area wise product market plan, pricing, monetization and positioning strategy
- Formation of products policies and processes management
- Development, rollout and launch of data and related value added products
- Fixed products viability and competitive assessment
- Coordination with engineering teams for designing technical solutions
- Commercial feasibility analysis (competitive assessment, target segments, subscribers forecast, pricing, product positioning, potential partners and business model, cost structure, revenue forecast and profitability)
- Business case and product paper preparation and approval from management
- Ensuring Sales Kit Preparation including Sales collateral, Digital media, sales videos and training, product user manuals
- Yearly, quarterly and monthly Business planning for fixed data products (including industry use cases, segment identification, business areas)
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience and Skills): Education:
- BS in Telecom Engineering or Computer Science
- Preferably MBA Marketing / MS Project Management
Work Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in Fixed Product development, presales, Techno-Commercial roles
- Good understanding of Optical Transmission and/or IP Core networks
Skills - Generic:
- Should be able to analyze, understand and recommend solutions to complex problems (product/business.).
- Should have strong quantitative & analytical skills including data extraction, method and interpreting results into actionable insights.
- Ability to handle working under tight deadlines without compromising on data analytics quality and should know importance of prioritization.
- Sufficient telecom business knowledge and preferably of Fixed products.
- Extremely good communication and presentation skills.
- Be a strong team player and knows how to utilize the organizational network/ stakeholders
- Proficient in productivity tools specially MS Excel, Power point, MS Word, MS Visio, Google Earth
- Multi-tasking ability
Skills - Job Specific:
- Knowledge of GSM/3G/4G/Fixed Line technology
- Knowledge of Internet Networks, LAN Networks, IPLC & DPLC Architectures, MPLS & MPLS VPNs, SD-WAN.
- Sound understanding of PTA FLL/WLL provisions & compliance
- Troubleshooting/Escalation of Internet gateways, IP Core and transmission networks, traffic flows
- Commercial understanding of fixed products (Product pricing, SWAT analysis, scenario based analysis, market insights etc.)

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation capabilities.
- Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
- Team player with cross-functional collaboration abilities.
