We are seeking a strategic
Enterprise Architect
to lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise-wide technology architecture across our banking and financial ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
core banking systems
,
digital transformation
, and
cloud-native architectures
, along with a strong understanding of regulatory, risk, and security frameworks within the BFS sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprint, aligning it with organizational strategy and regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with business leaders and heads to define and prioritize digital transformation initiatives.
  • Drive technology standardization, integration, and optimization across the organization.
  • Lead architecture reviews and governance to ensure system scalability, security, and interoperability.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and propose adoption strategies that support innovation and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee modernization of legacy systems, including migration to microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Provide architectural guidance for major programs such as core banking transformation, digital payments, customer data platforms, and enterprise integration.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure solutions are delivered according to architecture principles.
  • Define standards for application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
  • Establish and enforce architecture governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and regulatory standards.
  • Partner with business development and pre-sales teams to design and present enterprise-level solutions for prospective clients, aligning proposals with architectural standards and client requirements.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, and technical workshops to demonstrate architectural thought leadership and domain expertise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience
    in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or technology strategy within
    banking or financial services
    .
  • Proven experience in
    core banking
    ,
    digital banking
    ,
    payments
    ,
    data management
    , and
    risk systems
    .
  • Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks such as
    TOGAF, Zachman,
    or similar enterprise
  • Experience designing and implementing
    cloud
    ,
    API-led
    , and
    microservices architectures
    .
  • Deep understanding of information security principles, compliance requirements, and regulatory mandates in BFS sector
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or CISSP will be a plus
