Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounting Department. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of accounting functions, ensuring that financial operations are efficient, accurate, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Account Books: Keep all accounting books and systems up to date.
  • Voucher Management: Ensure proper maintenance of vouchers and their corresponding files for record-keeping.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, matching bank statements with supporting documents.
  • Revenue and Expense Review: Monitor and review monthly revenue and expenses.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage daily cash, prepare cash forecasts, and track collection activities. Help in monitoring working capital.
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and prepare monthly financial statements and accounting schedules. Conduct financial analysis based on these reports.

Requirements:

  • Education: ACCA/Masters in Accounting, Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an accounting or finance role.
  • Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (a must).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
