Location: Green Forts, Lahore (Onsite)

Type: Full-time, 5pm-2am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain
    scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
    for structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Work with
    BigQuery
    and other
    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
    services for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Implement and manage
    data lakehouse architectures
    , ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  • Use
    Apache Iceberg
    to manage large-scale transactional datasets efficiently.
  • Orchestrate and automate workflows using tools like
    Airflow, Kubernetes, or Terraform
    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Engineering, and Product) to design data models that support business insights.
  • Write efficient, scalable, and clean
    Python
    and
    SQL
    code to optimize data workflows.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security across all pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in
    Python
    (must-have).
  • Advanced skills in
    SQL
    and query optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with
    BigQuery
    and
    Google Cloud Storage (GCS)
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    data lakehouse architectures, data warehousing, and distributed query engines
    .
  • Practical experience with
    Apache Iceberg
    .
  • Proven experience in designing and managing
    ETL/ELT pipelines
    and
    cloud-based workflows
    .
  • Experience with workflow orchestration and automation using
    Airflow, Kubernetes, or Terraform
    .
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
