i3MEDIA are seeking a Backlink Expert to improve our off-page SEO strategy through smart link-building and competitor gap analysis. The ideal candidate will identify high-quality backlink opportunities, manage outreach campaigns, and use automation tools to scale results efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive backlink gap analysis and AI automations using Semrush to identify domains linking to competitors but not to our clients.

  • Prioritize and segment outreach opportunities based on domain authority, relevance, and link quality.

  • Use pre-defined prompt templates to generate personalised outreach emails at scale.

  • Manage outreach campaigns to secure placements on relevant blogs, media sites, and industry directories.

  • Track link acquisition performance and maintain detailed reports on outreach success rates.
  • Collaborate with the content and SEO teams to ensure backlink relevance and alignment with target keywords.
  • Monitor competitors' link profiles and emerging link opportunities on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in SEO outreach and link-building (minimum 1 year).
  • Strong knowledge of Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar backlink analysis tools.
  • Experience using AI or automation workflows for outreach campaigns.
  • Understanding of domain authority, anchor text strategy, and link quality metrics.
  • Excellent written communication and email outreach skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple campaigns.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with content-led link-building strategies.
  • Familiarity with AI prompt engineering or personalised email generation tools.
  • Basic understanding of Google Search Console and on-page SEO principles.
