Job Description:

  • Trainee Pharmacist, works under supervision of Pharmacists to prepare and dispense medications, while maintaining quality and safety in compliance with Pharmacy procedures and policies.
  • Accurately reviews prescriptions for correct drug, dosage and route of administration.
  • Prepares intravenous drug doses and total parenteral nutrition using aseptic techniques in the laminar air flow hood, under supervision.
  • Ensures medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely to ensure freshness and potency.
  • Answers queries from patients and hospital staff, either through existing knowledge or after confirmation by pharmacists.
