Job Description:
- Trainee Pharmacist, works under supervision of Pharmacists to prepare and dispense medications, while maintaining quality and safety in compliance with Pharmacy procedures and policies.
- Accurately reviews prescriptions for correct drug, dosage and route of administration.
- Prepares intravenous drug doses and total parenteral nutrition using aseptic techniques in the laminar air flow hood, under supervision.
- Ensures medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely to ensure freshness and potency.
- Answers queries from patients and hospital staff, either through existing knowledge or after confirmation by pharmacists.
