OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and overall performance of software applications through rigorous testing processes, test planning and close collaboration with the development team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, maintain and execute test plans, test cases and test scripts for web, mobile and API-based applications
  • Perform functional, regression, integration and non-functional testing across various environments
  • Identify, document and track software defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Mantis, Jira, Redmine or similar)
  • Engineer test suites to validate various types of software applications including, but not limited to web, mobile applications and APIs
  • Work closely with developers, product managers and business analysts to ensure requirements are clear and testable
  • Contribute to test automation using frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
  • Ensure testing activities align with the SDLC and QA best practices
  • Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage and overall software quality

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors in IT/Computer Science from a well-reputed institution
  • 2 years plus professional experience in software testing (manual and automation) domain
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC and STLC
  • Hands on experience in software testing and automation tools like Cypress, Selenium or equivalent
  • Must be well-oriented in the whole range of processes and have a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and process
  • Experience in mobile app test automation will be a strong advantage

LOCATION: Islamabad, Pakistan

COMPENSATION: Salary based on experience + bonus + benefits
