is currently hiring a new Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our successful team in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Currently, hundreds of dealerships advertise more than 30,000 cars on , making us UAE's largest car classified website.

As a SQA Engineer at Dubicars, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the exceptional quality and performance of our web and mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with the development team to identify, report, and validate issues while implementing robust testing strategies. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of outstanding digital solutions that impact our clients and end-users.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of web applications and mobile apps to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues across different devices, browsers, and operating systems.
  • Create and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure optimal coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress,Appium, etc.) to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development lifecycle.
  • Continuously enhance and expand the automated testing framework to increase test coverage and identify regressions.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the results of automated and manual test executions, and work closely with developers to address identified issues.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure testability and provide insights into potential quality risks.
  • Assist in the documentation of test cases, test plans, and testing procedures to maintain a clear record of testing activities and outcomes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to QA and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a strong background in testing web applications and mobile apps.
  • Proficiency in manual testing techniques, test case creation, and execution.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, QA methodologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
