The Network Engineer is responsible for the implementation, administration, and support of Stewart Title's enterprise remote office network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and connectivity to VoIP systems (Webex, ZOOM, MS Teams). This role manages 400+ remote offices and plays a key part in ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing connectivity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, install, and maintain internal and external networks
  • Test and evaluate network systems to identify, resolve, and prevent issues
  • Support and manage LAN and WAN connectivity for all sites
  • Maintain and support WAN/LAN infrastructure, including performance monitoring and optimization
  • Lead or assist with office relocations and consolidations, ensuring minimal disruption to network services

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Cisco-based network environments
  • Cisco certifications required: CCNA/CCNP (minimum); CCIE preferred
  • Strong experience with Meraki SDWAN
  • Experience with TDM and SIP-based PBX/phone systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio for creating detailed network diagrams
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be available to monitor the network and respond to incidents after business hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong initiative and ownership of tasks, incidents, and projects
  • Comfortable escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Proficient with SD-WAN technologies and platforms (Meraki)
  • Deep understanding of routing protocols: TCP/IP, EtherChannel, 802.1Q, Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP
  • Experience with VPN technologies
  • Hands-on with Cisco ASA
  • Familiar with VRF, route leaking, redistribution, and access/prefix lists
  • Expertise in packet capture tools (Wireshark, tcpdump) and network traffic analysis
  • Skilled wireless technologies and NAC solutions
