Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated
Associate Network Engineer
with at least
1 year of experience
to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing and supporting our
network infrastructure (Cisco switches, routers, firewalls)
and provide
system/desktop support
to ensure smooth IT operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, monitor, and maintain
    Cisco switches
    , routers, and other network devices.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of
    network hardware/software
    .
  • Provide
    first- and second-level IT support
    for desktops, laptops, printers, and operating systems.
  • Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity issues, and escalate when needed.
  • Perform
    system updates, patches, and backups
    as directed by senior engineers.
  • Maintain
    network documentation
    , including diagrams, device inventories, and configuration records.
  • Ensure compliance with IT and security policies across systems and devices.
  • Support end-users with hardware/software troubleshooting, email, and VPN connectivity.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on
    network upgrades and new implementations
    .

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
    in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum
    1 year of hands-on experience
    in network/system support.
  • Basic knowledge of
    Cisco networking (CCNA preferred)
    .
  • Experience with
    Windows
    , Active Directory, and basic server support.
  • Strong understanding of
    TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLANs, and network troubleshooting tools
    .
  • Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications

  • Cisco CCNA (Routing & Switching)
    – strongly preferred.
  • CompTIA Network+ or A+
    – a plus.
  • Microsoft MCSA/Modern Desktop Certification – A Competitive Advantage.

Work Schedule

  • Preferred Shift
    : Morning (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
  • Rotational Shifts
    : Flexibility required based on operational needs.
