Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Sargodha for an Ophthalmologist. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients with various eye conditions, conducting diagnostic procedures and tests, and performing surgical and laser treatments as required. They will provide expert care in the field of ophthalmology, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality eye care services to patients, especially those with challenging conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and retinal disorders. The role requires adherence to the highest medical standards and a strong commitment to serving underprivileged communities.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge and skills in Ophthalmology and Optometry
• Experience and proficiency in surgical procedures, especially cataract and other eye-related surgeries
• Familiarity with laser treatments and other modern ophthalmic interventions
• Strong foundation in medical sciences, including knowledge of diseases and treatments related to the eye
• Commitment to patient care and the ability to work compassionately with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities in a clinical setting
• Board certification or equivalent qualifications in Ophthalmology
• Prior experience working in a hospital or clinical environment is highly desirable
