Role Overview

AHK Global Solutions is looking for a highly experienced 
Senior DevOps Engineer
 with proven expertise in 
Microsoft Azure
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized applications. This role requires deep hands-on experience in 
Azure services, Kubernetes (AKS), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud security practices
.

As a senior member of the team, you will also provide leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Azure Cloud Infrastructure
• Architect, deploy, and manage solutions on Microsoft Azure (VMs, App Services, Storage, Networking, Azure SQL, Functions).
• Implement 
  high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery
   strategies.
• Optimize cloud usage to reduce costs while maintaining performance.
• CI/CD & Automation
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using 
  Azure DevOps Pipelines
  , GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment with 
  Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep
  .
• Integrate testing, monitoring, and security scans into deployment workflows.
• Containers & Orchestration
• Manage containerized workloads with 
  Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  .
• Implement and manage Helm charts for application packaging.
• Configure monitoring and scaling for Kubernetes workloads.
• Monitoring & Security
• Monitor infrastructure using 
  Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics
  .
• Implement 
  RBAC, Azure AD integration, Key Vault, and Zero Trust
   security principles.
• Handle incident response, vulnerability scanning, and compliance with 
  SOC 2, ISO 27001
  .
• Leadership & Collaboration
• Mentor and guide junior DevOps and Cloud Engineers.
• Work closely with developers, QA, and product managers to streamline releases.
• Contribute to long-term cloud strategy and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience
  , with at least 
  3+ years in Azure environments
  .
• Expertise in:
• Microsoft Azure services
   (App Services, AKS, Functions, Networking, IAM).
• CI/CD pipelines
   (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Infrastructure as Code
   (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, Ansible).
• Containerization & Kubernetes (AKS)
  .
• Strong knowledge of 
  networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls)
  .
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: 
  Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
• Microsoft Certified: 
  Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or CKAD
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate
