Job Title: Product Hunting & Sourcing Executive

Location: DHA Phase 8, Karachi, Pakistan (On-site)

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday (Alternate Saturdays), 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Job Summary:

Tens Sourcing is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Product Hunting & Sourcing Executive to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying profitable product opportunities, conducting comprehensive market analysis, and sourcing reliable suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality assurance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth product research to identify high-demand, low-competition products across various categories.
  • Utilize research tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout etc. for data-driven product analysis.
  • Analyze metrics such as sales velocity, BSR trends, seasonality, review ratings and margins.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor performance, and pricing strategies to shortlist winning products.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations, samples, lead times, and negotiate pricing, payment terms and MOQs.
  • Ensure quality control, product specifications, and packaging requirements are met.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns (product cost, packaging, shipping, duties, Amazon related fees, etc.)
  • Ensure target profit margins are met before product approval.
  • Maintain accurate records of all product hunting & sourcing activities, supplier communications, purchase orders and order status.
  • Support in pre-launch readiness, including barcodes, labeling and carton specifications.
  • Monitor supply chain processes and proactively resolve any delays or quality concerns.
  • Stay updated with new tools, e-commerce trends, Amazon marketplace changes, cost structures, and new trends on best selling products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in product research and product sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon private label model.
  • Proficiency in tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Alibaba, etc.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple products and suppliers simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in managing supplier relationships in global markets.
  • Familiarity with shipping methods, logistics coordination, and cost optimization.
  • Thorough understanding of Amazon's seller platform.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in Excel.
