Backend Developer
Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled
Backend Developer
with 2-3 years of hands-on experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have
strong expertise in TypeScript, , REST APIs, Repository Pattern, and Apollo GraphQL
, with working knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes for building scalable, high-performance backend services.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using
    TypeScript and
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL services using
    Apollo Server
  • Implement
    repository pattern
    and clean architecture principles
  • Write efficient, reusable, and type-safe code following best practices
  • Optimize application performance and scalability

API Development

  • Develop and document RESTful APIs with proper versioning and error handling
  • Implement GraphQL APIs using Apollo Server
  • Design and implement efficient data models and schemas
  • Handle API authentication, authorization, and security best practices
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services

Database & Data Management

  • Design and optimize database schemas (SQL/NoSQL)
  • Implement repository pattern for data access layer
  • Write efficient database queries and ensure data integrity
  • Handle database migrations and version control

Cloud & DevOps (Secondary Focus)

  • Deploy and manage applications on AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.)
  • Work with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Monitor application performance and assist in troubleshooting production issues

Collaboration & Best Practices

  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product managers
  • Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Document technical specifications and API documentation
  • Contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions

Required Technical Skills
Primary Skills (Must Have - Mandatory)

  • TypeScript
  • Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and type-safe programming
  • Strong proficiency in runtime and ecosystem
  • REST APIs
  • Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful services
  • Repository Pattern
  • Hands-on implementation of repository/data access patterns
  • Apollo GraphQL
  • Experience with Apollo Server and GraphQL schema design

Secondary Skills (Required - Moderate Level)

  • AWS
  • Working knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Kubernetes
  • Experience with container orchestration and K8s deployments
