Nuvex Biotech is seeking a Local Procurement Specialist to source Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and excipients in sub-kilogram quantities for urgent R&D and formulation needs. This role is ideal for someone with strong local supplier networks and a deep understanding of pharma-grade materials.
Responsibilities:
- Rapidly identify and source APIs and excipients in small quantities (sub-kg to a few kg).
- Vet suppliers for quality, documentation, and GMP compliance (where applicable).
- Ensure timely procurement for ongoing formulation and preclinical projects.
- Liaise with the technical team to align material specs with R&D requirements.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in pharma procurement (especially R&D scale).
- Strong network of local API and excipient vendors.
- Knowledge of material grades, quality standards, and documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment.
