As a TAC Engineer, you will be responsible for providing Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support to clients using PLC Group's AI-powered IoT platforms. You will work closely with engineering, NOC, and product teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction across critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:

● Serve as a key technical resource for resolving customer-reported issues related to software, hardware, and connectivity.

● Troubleshoot and diagnose problems involving networks, embedded systems, sensors, or application-level errors.

● Document issue resolution processes, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting guidelines.

● Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews.

● Provide technical support during system upgrades, patches, and deployments.

● Monitor support queues and maintain SLAs for response and resolution times.

● Communicate technical updates and solutions clearly to both internal teams and customers.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

● Degree must be completed

● Strong understanding of IP networking, routing, and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, etc.).

● Experience with Linux/Unix environments, command-line tools, and system logs.

● Familiarity with IoT systems, embedded devices, or telemetry data is a strong advantage.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for handling high-pressure customer interactions.

● Ability to manage multiple tickets, prioritize effectively, and work in rotational shifts when required.

● Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, Freshdesk, Zendesk) and remote diagnostic tools.
