  • We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer with strong expertise in steel structures, fabrication, and erection to manage and supervise mechanical construction activities at site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality execution, safety compliance, and timely completion of steel-related works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage steel structure projects from fabrication to erection at site.
  • Supervise fabrication, installation, alignment, and erection of steel structures.
  • Conduct site inspections, measurements, and technical evaluations to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, contractors, fabricators, and vendors for smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Monitor work progress, manpower, equipment, and materials at site.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and execution-related issues in steel construction activities.
  • Collaborate with the design and planning team to ensure constructability and efficient execution.
  • Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
  • Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.
  • Assist in project scheduling, cost estimation, and material take-offs.
  • Ensure a proactive approach to safety, enforcing HSE rules and minimizing site risks.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of steel structures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience in steel structures, fabrication, and erection at construction sites.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel standards, welding procedures, erection methods, and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and basic quantity estimation tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and fabrication drawings.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability under site conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50, Rs75,000.00 per month
