About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Merchandiser to join our dynamic team at AGI Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing product lines, including sourcing, costing, and basic production planning.
- Coordinate with suppliers to follow up on orders and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Support in price negotiations and delivery terms under guidance of senior merchandisers.
- Track production schedules and assist in maintaining quality control standards.
- Collaborate with the design team to support development of new product lines.
- Work with the sales team to help forecast demand and monitor inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with relevant quality and safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the apparel/textile industry.
- Good understanding of apparel manufacturing processes.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with merchandising or ERP software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Shift Timings: 9AM to 6PM (Mon - Sat)
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person
