Assistant Manager - Trade Programs

Position Summary

This position is responsible for leading end-to-end merchandising operations, including vendor management, automation, and performance tracking, to drive impactful shopper experiences across trade channels. It involves designing and managing channel-wise look & feel, toolkits, planograms, and POSM, while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and shopper needs. The position develops and monitors trade visibility KPIs, ensures compliance across regions, and creates shopper-centric tools for modern trade, serving as a key link between marketing and regional stakeholders. Additionally, it drives trade classification, activation programs, and ROI measurement, while overseeing the design and execution of promotional tools and artworks in collaboration with agencies and brand teams to deliver consistent, effective, and measurable trade programs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead merchandising program operations, including vendor management, automation, and payout methodology.
  • Design and manage channel-wise look & feel, including toolkits, planograms, and POSM, based on shopper needs.
  • Develop and track trade visibility KPIs, ensuring compliance across regions (OSA, SOS, productivity, visibility standards).
  • Create shopper-centric and interactive tools for modern trade, acting as a bridge between marketing and regional stakeholders.
  • Drive trade classification, trade marketing activities, and ROI measurement of trade programs.
  • Manage design and execution of artworks, promotional tools, and in-store activation materials in collaboration with brand teams.
  • Oversee vendors for the development of innovative and efficient promotional tools across modern trade categories to deliver an end-to-end shopper experience.
  • Build and manage performance dashboards to monitor program effectiveness and regional alignment

Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience within FMCG industry
