What you will be doing

Your work will revolve around designing and building highly scalable backend APIs and services with efficient database handling in Django with SQL databases and Cloud Infrastructure.

Your day to day:

  • Write well-documented, reusable, and clean code
  • Design and develop applications using Python/Django
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure
  • Develop new and maintain existing features
  • Ensure quality by writing unit tests and reviewing the code of your peers
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new technologies and methodologies

Requirements

  • 3+ years of building software products in python and Django
  • 1+ years of building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub actions or Bitbucket pipelines
  • Familiarity with cloud computing
  • Conversational English speaking skills
  • Prior experience working in a remote-first environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs350, Rs450,000.00 per month
