JOB PURPOSE
This role is responsible for managing on time landing of all new innovations, re-launches, localizations, any change in product in the product category, liaising with all the stake holders in brands, R&D, Regulatory and extended supply chain team.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
• Analyzing the capacity of manufacturing in product category and leading the capacity enhancement projects wherever there are bottle necks in capacity, managing all the actions from preparing the business case to completion of the project
• Leading all the projects related to technology changes in product category including process and material, including introducing new technologies and raise the business case for CAPEX
• Manage spending effectively, develop annual budgets in detail, seek improvement in efficiency and results.
• Support and/or manage capital installation projects. Develop work standards involving safety and quality for both internal and external craft and technical personnel, assure compliance to standards. Take corrective action when necessary.
• Leading all the projects related to technology changes in BW category including process and material.
• Take ownership of the BFI (Better Faster Innovation) process and deliver a step reduction in lead time to implement to first market aligned with B&W LT, with all subsequent roll-outs to be completed in a defined time frame, for assigned fast track projects
• Work with cluster and procurement teams as required to ensure SC Design for each innovation (FG, materials) is capable of delivering sufficient responsiveness on each format to maximize the opportunity to deliver consistently excellent customer service. This includes documenting the key SC design parameters.
The position will be based in Karachi, with an expected travelling of 20-25% of the time.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
• 5+ years-experience in Supply Chain operations
• Bachelor's degree,– Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
• Appropriate functional / technical expertise – Engineering, Maintenance, Operations & Quality
• Strong continuous improvement background is required, with demonstrated performance.
