Qualitx is a fast-growing software testing and quality assurance company based in Lahore. We specialize in ensuring digital products are secure, scalable, and free of loopholes before they reach the market. With a collaborative team environment and international clientele, we are now looking to expand our in-house team with a skilled SQA Engineer.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Software Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright automation. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining Playwright-based automated test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Perform functional, regression, and cross-browser testing for web applications.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to ensure product quality.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using standard issue-tracking tools.
  • Continuously enhance the automation framework for scalability and efficiency.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Playwright.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (or Python with Playwright).
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with other automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
