About the Role:

We are seeking a Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent certification) with a strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience coding a variety of services including procedures, diagnostic tests, and office visits. This role is essential to ensuring accurate and compliant coding that supports timely reimbursement and minimizes claim denials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for a wide range of medical services
  • Review and analyze medical records, operative reports, and provider documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure coding compliance with CMS, HIPAA, OIG, and payer-specific regulations
  • Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to clarify documentation and support accurate coding
  • Conduct coding audits and denial reviews to identify trends and reduce errors
  • Stay current with updates to coding guidelines, payer rules, and regulatory changes
  • Use EHR and coding software systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athena, or similar platforms) to manage and process coding tasks efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Current coding certification: CPC (AAPC), CCS (AHIMA), or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of coding experience in a clinical or hospital setting
  • Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding standards and guidelines
  • Experience with denial management, claims processing, and reimbursement workflows
  • Proficiency in EHR systems and medical coding software
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting

Note- This is a Full Time Remote Position(Mon-Fri 6PM-3AM)

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with risk adjustment coding (HCC) and E/M coding
  • Knowledge of payer-specific requirements and authorization workflows
  • Ability to assist in training or mentoring junior coding staff (preferred, not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80, Rs100,000.00 per month
