Telecom Site Engineer – FO

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and execute installation of telecom infrastructure including fiber optic networks, and Cisco routers configuration.
  • Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with client and other utility providers for power connections, approvals, and site energization.
  • Supervising CCVT system installation and deployment on site.
  • Oversee fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and commissioning of telecom systems.
  • Ensure compliance with telecom standards, project specifications, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations.
  • Prepare and verify subcontractor invoices, ensuring alignment with work completed and contractual terms.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality control and safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including site reports, test results, RLM (Red line Mark), and invoicing records.
  • Report progress, risks, and mitigation plans to the Project Manager on a regular basis.

Lead and mentor field teams to ensure efficient and safe execution of site activities.

  • • Proven experience with Cisco equipment ?
  • Preferably Certified CCNA & CCNP?
  • Experience in CCTV systems?
  • Proven experience in managing subcontractors and handling site-level invoicing and documentation?
  • Familiarity with utility coordination?
  • Strong knowledge of telecom systems, fiber optics, and 3G/4G communication?
  • Proficient in telecom testing tools (e.g., OTDR, TEMS) and MS Office?
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Urdu or other regional languages is a plus?
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills?
  • Willingness to travel and work in field conditions?

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with telecom rollout projects for major operators or vendors?
  • Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and telecom safety standards?
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and telecom reporting platforms?
  • Certifications in fiber optics, or project management are a plus?

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:
