Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Odoo Technical Developer with at least 3 years of proven expertise in Odoo development. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of the Odoo framework, strong programming skills, and the ability to design, customize, and optimize complex business applications. As a senior resource, you will take ownership of technical development, guide junior developers, and collaborate with functional teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the customization and development of Odoo modules in alignment with project and business requirements.
  • Architect, design, and implement new features, workflows, and enhancements across Odoo applications.
  • Develop advanced reports and dashboards using QWeb, Excel integrations, and other reporting tools.
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party applications, APIs, and external systems.
  • Perform in-depth debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for Odoo implementations.
  • Ensure proper code quality, reusability, and maintainability by enforcing coding standards and best practices.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for modules and integrations.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews, training, and technical guidance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Odoo releases, frameworks, and industry best practices to continuously improve system performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development (v13 and above preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Python and deep understanding of the Odoo ORM.
  • Solid experience with PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and Odoo module structure.
  • Good knowledge of business logic, workflows, accounting, sales, inventory, HR, and other ERP domains in Odoo.
  • Hands-on experience with custom module development, migration, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
  • Experience in API integration and connecting Odoo with third-party systems.
  • Strong understanding of Git version control and collaborative development.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver projects on time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Odoo deployment on cloud environments (AWS, Docker, or similar).
  • Knowledge of advanced Odoo enterprise modules and SaaS setups.
  • Contribution to Odoo community or open-source projects.
