We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack MERN Developer to join our growing team. The right candidate will have hands-on experience in building and scaling e-commerce websites, with strong command of both backend and frontend development. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects while guiding and mentoring 2 junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end e-commerce platforms using the MERN stack (MongoDB, , , ).
  • Work on both backend (APIs, database, server logic) and frontend (UI/UX, components, responsive design) to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, performance, and timely delivery.
  • Mentor and supervise a team of 2 junior developers, providing code reviews, guidance, and support.
  • Integrate secure payment gateways, shopping carts, inventory management, and order tracking systems.
  • Optimise websites for speed, SEO, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest e-commerce technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer.
  • Solid background in e-commerce website development (shopping carts, checkout flows, product catalogues, user authentication, etc.).
  • Strong expertise in backend , Express, MongoDB) and frontend , ).
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Git, and deployment on AWS/Azure/A2 hosting.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Understanding of database design, security, and performance optimisation.
  • Ability to manage and lead junior developers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Nice to Have (Optional but Preferred)

Experience with Docker or containerized applications.

Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean, etc.).

Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress, etc.).
