About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our marketing team. The intern will assist in developing and implementing effective search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to increase website visibility and organic traffic. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn hands-on SEO practices, analytics, and digital marketing strategies in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist in optimizing website content, metadata, and internal linking.
  • Support in creating SEO-friendly content for blogs, landing pages, and social media.
  • Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
  • Help with technical SEO audits to identify site issues and suggest improvements.
  • Track keyword rankings and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Research competitors' SEO strategies and recommend actionable insights.
  • Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, Keyword Planner).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Yoast, Screaming Frog, etc.).
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
  • Content writing or copywriting experience.
  • Understanding of social media and content marketing strategies.
