Job Summary

As a Credentialing Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of healthcare provider credentials. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to navigate complex processes will contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance within our organization.

Responsibilities

1. Credential Verification: Review and validate healthcare provider credentials, including medical licenses, board certifications, DEA registrations, and malpractice insurance.
2. Data Entry: Enter and maintain accurate records in credentialing databases and systems.
3. Provider Enrollment: Assist in the enrollment process with insurance panels, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accrediting agency requirements related to credentialing.
5. Communication: Collaborate with providers, hospitals, and other stakeholders to resolve credentialing issues.
6. Process Support: Assist in managing the credentialing process from application submission to approval.
7. Audits and Reporting: Participate in internal audits and generate reports as needed.

Education:
Bachelor's degree

Experience:
6 months to 1 year experience in Credentialing

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of credentialing software is a plus
• Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with providers and payers
• Ability to work with confidential information while maintaining discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
