About the Role

Okay Corp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join its head office team in DHA Phase 8. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing accounts, maintaining daily bookkeeping, tracking outlet performance, and implementing cost control systems across multiple small-scale food outlets.

This is a full-time, office-based role that requires strong analytical skills, financial discipline, and the ability to streamline accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities


• Maintain daily bookkeeping and record all expenses, income, and sales for multiple outlets.


• Conduct monthly inventory counts, track opening and closing stock, and calculate cost of goods sold (COGS).


• Prepare monthly profit and loss statements and other financial reports.


• Verify purchase invoices, supplier bills, and petty cash transactions.


• Develop and monitor cost control systems to identify inefficiencies and wastage.


• Support management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial insights.


• Ensure accounts are updated, reconciled, and closed accurately each month.

Requirements


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.


• 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the food, retail, or hospitality sector.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with familiarity in QuickBooks or similar accounting software.


• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet strict reporting deadlines.
