The Role Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Scrum Master / Project Coordinator
to support our Product Manager and development team in driving projects forward with efficiency and precision. This role is integral to ensuring smooth communication, organized workflows, and timely delivery of high-quality features. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management within Agile environments, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support Product Manager:
    Assist the Product Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities.
  • Documentation:
    Assist in documenting project requirements, user stories, and other relevant documentation.
  • Communication:
    Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and other project stakeholders.
  • Task Management:
    Assist in managing project tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Risk Management:
    Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks.
  • Review and Analysis:
    Review existing processes, analyze performance metrics, and suggest improvements to increase overall efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Assist in quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

Daily Duties:

  • Serve as the Scrum Master, running scrums, organizing Jira boards, and identifying and addressing blockers.
  • Conduct feature testing.
  • Facilitate retrospectives to continuously improve team processes.
  • Coordinate and schedule deployments and prepare detailed deployment emails to ensure end-users understand new features.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    A minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in project management or a related role is a must.
  • Certified Scrum Master:
    Must hold a certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, demonstrating expertise in Agile methodologies and the Scrum framework.
  • Fluent proficiency in verbal and written English.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools/software (Jira) and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team.
  • Availability to work as per the Eastern Standard Time (EST) timezone

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certifications:
    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or any relevant Agile certifications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
