Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of high-quality software applications and data solutions using Python. You will work with experienced developers to design, implement, and troubleshoot new features, build robust back-end systems, and support data-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Python applications and scripts for web services and data pipelines.
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented Python code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers, to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Assist in designing and implementing server-side logic and integrating user-facing elements with back-end applications using frameworks like Django or Flask.
  • Integrate with external services and APIs to enhance application functionality.
  • Participate in debugging, optimizing, and troubleshooting issues across the application lifecycle.
  • Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
  • Contribute to code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Gain hands-on experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and cloud platforms such as AWS.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-1.5 years of experience in Python development.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with its common libraries.
  • Experience with at least one Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write efficient, reusable code.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
