We are seeking a proactive and experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS and CI/CD pipelines to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in GitHub Actions, build tooling, and cloud deployment, with the ability to take ownership of projects, propose improvements, and drive solutions from POC to production. Familiarity with monitoring tools and dashboard creation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub Actions and related tooling.
  • Deploy, maintain, and optimize applications on AWS, Heroku, and other cloud platforms.
  • Integrate automated testing frameworks (e.g., CircleCI) with pipelines to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Review current infrastructure, pipelines, and tools; propose and implement improvements.
  • Build Proofs of Concept (POCs) and drive them through to production.
  • Monitor application performance and infrastructure using tools like Datadog, Sentry, and others.
  • Create unified monitoring dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth deployment workflows.
  • Document processes, pipelines, and best practices to enhance team efficiency.
Requirements:
  • 4–8 years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in GitHub Actions and general CI/CD pipeline setup.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Heroku, and build/deployment tooling.
  • Experience integrating pipelines with test frameworks and QA tools (CircleCI or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify areas of improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Proven experience in building and driving POCs to production.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Ability to design and create unified monitoring dashboards for systems and applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
