Build Scalable APIs for Global Clients | Backend Engineering | Night Shift

ABS International (Gulshan-e-Iqbal) is hiring a logic-driven Backend Developer who specializes in Laravel and High-Performance APIs.

We don't just want someone who can "write a function." We want an engineer who understands Database Optimization, Queues, and Clean Architecture. You will join a dedicated backend pod building systems used by international users.

The Stack (What We Use):

  • Core: PHP 8+, Laravel (v9/10), MySQL / PostgreSQL.
  • Performance: Redis (Queues/Caching), Cron Jobs, Database Indexing.
  • DevOps: Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Automated Testing.

The Challenge (Your Responsibilities):

  • Architect APIs: Design RESTful APIs that are secure, documented, and fast.
  • Optimize Performance: Troubleshoot slow queries, implement caching (Redis), and optimize database schemas.
  • Build Systems: Handle background jobs (Queues) for heavy processing without blocking the UI.
  • Code Quality: Conduct code reviews and write clean, testable code (PSR standards).

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ Years of professional Laravel/PHP experience.
  • The Brain: Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and Raw SQL queries.
  • Tools: Proficient with Git and Postman.
  • Availability: Committed to Night Shift (6:00 PM – 2:00 AM).
  • Portfolio/GitHub link is mandatory.
