Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Flagman / Spotter Trainer role based in Karachi. The Trainer will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating comprehensive training sessions for flagging and spotting operations specific to the mining industry. Daily tasks include designing training programs, conducting workshops and hands-on practical sessions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and mentoring trainees to enhance their operational and safety skills. The role requires close coordination with the operational team to update and align training procedures with industry regulations and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Flagman/Spotter training tailored for mining operations
  • Teach signaling, communication protocols & radio procedures
  • Demonstrate safe vehicle and heavy equipment movement guidance
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk control exercises
  • Perform practical skill assessments and issue competency evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with mining safety standards and HSE requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a trainer in mining or heavy equipment operations
  • Strong understanding of traffic management in mining environments
  • Excellent communication and demonstration skills
  • Ability to conduct both classroom and practical field sessions
