Job Opportunity – Assistant Front Office Manager
Hotel Mehran, Karachi
We are looking for a dynamic, professional, and guest-focused Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team and support smooth daily operations of the Front Office Department.
Job Description / Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Front Office Manager in managing day-to-day front office operations.
- Ensure smooth check-ins, check-outs, and excellent guest service experience.
- Supervise front desk, concierge, bell desk, and reservation staff.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain high standards of guest satisfaction, courtesy, and hospitality.
- Ensure accuracy in billing, payments, and adherence to hotel SOPs.
- Monitor staff performance, grooming, attendance, and shift schedules.
- Conduct training for front office staff to improve service skills.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, reservations, and finance for daily operations.
- Oversee room allocation, VIP arrivals, and special guest requirements.
- Ensure proper use of PMS (e.g., IDS, Opera, or Hotel Eye as applicable).
- Maintain proper records, reports, and communication logs.
- Support in achieving departmental targets, upselling, and guest engagement scores.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification is Graduation
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Front Office operations, preferably in a 3–5 star hotel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a team effectively.
- Good command of MS Office and hotel management software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Pleasant personality, well-groomed, and guest-oriented attitude.
- Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
