Stafflink is seeking a
Senior AI Engineer
to take full technical ownership of a next-generation Voice-AI platform. This role involves building and scaling real-time AI infrastructure that powers tens of thousands of concurrent calls today and will evolve into a multi-tenant AI operating system with SDK and marketplace tomorrow.

What You'll Do

  • Platform Architecture – Design a secure, scalable multi-tenant SaaS (tenant isolation, billing, RBAC, SDK/plugin support).
  • Voice-AI Stack – Build & optimise ASR / TTS / NLU pipelines, achieving latency targets < 300ms.
  • Python Engineering – Develop high-performance microservices (FastAPI, AsyncIO, CI/CD, testing).
  • Real-Time Communication – Integrate & fine-tune LiveKit/WebRTC for low-latency, high-scale voice traffic.
  • Workflow Automation – Architect complex n8n flows with retries, fail-over, and custom nodes.
  • RAG & Vector Databases – Implement retrieval-augmented generation with Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma.
  • Event-Driven Systems – Work with Kafka/RabbitMQ & gRPC for high-throughput text/audio streams.
  • Observability – Deploy OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, chaos & load testing with SLA ≥ 99.95%.
  • Hybrid/Edge Deployments – Deliver DSGVO-compliant on-prem solutions with NVIDIA Triton & vLLM.
  • GPU Optimisation – Tune inference pipelines with TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, quantisation & vLLM.
  • Leadership – Mentor engineers, set technical guidelines, host tech talks, and lead by example.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7+ years professional software development, 5+ years in Python (async, performance, testing).
  • 3+ years running production ML/AI systems (preferably voice/conversational AI).
  • Proven Azure expertise (Speech Services, AKS/Kubernetes, Functions, IaC).
  • Hands-on LiveKit/WebRTC experience in real-time products.
  • Advanced n8n workflow expertise (custom nodes, error handling).
  • Strong knowledge of multi-tenant SaaS & SDK/plugin architecture.
  • Experience with vector databases & RAG pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Kafka/RabbitMQ, gRPC microservices, MLOps, observability.
  • Demonstrated GPU inference optimisation (TensorRT, ONNX, vLLM).
  • Fluent English, with solid understanding of GDPR/VoIP compliance.

  • Experience with LangChain, autonomous agent orchestration.
  • Edge-AI (Jetson/ARM) or hybrid-cloud deployments.
  • Open-source contributions or AI conference speaking.
  • Telecom/SIP integration background.
