Deputy Manager Store

To ensure efficient and systematic management of all raw material inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels, timely issuance, and compliance with company procedures to support uninterrupted production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Material Management:

• Supervise and monitor receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials according to defined procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all inward and outward material transactions in ERP/system.
• Maintain stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking through proper planning and coordination.
• Conduct periodic physical verification of stock and reconcile with system records.
• Monitor shelf-life, FIFO, and material condition to prevent deterioration or wastage.

Process Control & Documentation:

• Ensure all GRNs, Material Requisitions, and Issue Notes are properly authorized and documented.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Quality departments for inspection and acceptance of received materials.
• Ensure compliance with company's SOPs and audit requirements for inventory management.

Team Management:

• Supervise store staff and allocate duties effectively to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct training for store personnel on material handling, ERP usage, and safety protocols.
• Maintain discipline, punctuality, and safety culture among team members.

Coordination & Communication:

• Liaise with production, procurement, and planning departments for timely availability of materials.
• Coordinate with the Quality department for approval or rejection of incoming materials.
• Provide daily/weekly stock reports to management and highlight discrepancies immediately.

Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure proper housekeeping, labeling, and safety measures in storage areas.
• Implement 5S standards and maintain fire safety and material handling equipment in functional condition.
• Comply with HSE regulations and company policies related to material storage.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (ERP / SAP preferred)
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Knowledge of material types (chemicals, fabrics, inks, packaging, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
