Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
DevOps Engineer
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure and automation pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to streamline deployment processes and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure, and manage AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and VPC, to support scalable application infrastructure.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy to automate software builds, tests, and deployments.
  • Implement monitoring and observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and other monitoring tools to track application and infrastructure performance.
  • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery plans using AWS Backup, EBS snapshots, and cross-region replication.
  • Ensure regular backups, manage RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and RPO (Recovery Point Objective) requirements, and execute recovery testing.
  • Identify and resolve issues in applications and infrastructure by analyzing logs, metrics, and performance data.
  • Set up alerts for key performance indicators (KPIs) and troubleshoot incidents in real time.
  • Ensure optimal performance, cost efficiency, and reliability of AWS resources.
  • Optimize AWS resource utilization for cost-effectiveness and performance, tuning services like EC2 autoscaling, RDS instance sizing, and load balancing.
  • Collaborate with development teams on microservices and RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth deployment, scalability, and monitoring across environments.
  • Working with the team to Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to support continuous integration and deployment of applications.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on DevOps practices and resolve operational issues.
  • Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices to support team onboarding, knowledge transfer, and compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, preferably in a cloud-native or SaaS environment.
  • Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch).
  • Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or similar tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Practical experience with applications and RESTful APIs, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with
    logging, monitoring, and alerting
    solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.).
  • Good grasp of
    networking concepts
    , security groups, IAM roles, and VPC configurations.
  • Understanding of
    backup, disaster recovery
    , and high-availability strategies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with developers, QA, and product teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to system reliability and optimization.
