Introduction of the client company:

A leading US-based healthcare company headquartered in New York with a 50+ workforce is hiring a UI/UX Designer for its Islamabad Office.

Job Description:

We are seeking a mid-level AI Engineer to join our team and drive the next generation of business process automation. Your primary responsibility will be to deeply understand operational workflows and design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate and optimize these processes. You will leverage state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs), build robust AI pipelines, and integrate with a variety of business systems-including web applications, webhooks, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar.

This role requires strong proficiency in Python, solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, and the ability to work across both backend and frontend web development. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, but are expected to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively identifying automation opportunities and implementing innovative solutions that maximize business impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map operational workflows to identify automation opportunities.

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents using LLMs and agentic frameworks to automate business processes.

• Develop and maintain AI pipelines and integrations with third-party systems (e.g., web apps, webhooks, Google Sheets, Google Calendar).

• Implement both backend and frontend components as needed for AI-driven automation solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure smooth adoption of automated workflows.

• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in AI, continuously evaluating and leveraging new tools and frameworks for agentic applications.

• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Document workflows, processes, and integration logic for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 2+ years of industry experience in AI engineering, workflow automation, or a similar role.

• Strong programming skills in Python; working proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience integrating LLMs and building AI agents for real-world workflow automation.

• Familiarity with web app development (backend and frontend) and modern frameworks.

• Demonstrated experience building integrations with APIs, webhooks, and SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Sheets, Google Calendar).

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to diverse audiences.

• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.

• Up-to-date knowledge of emerging AI technologies and best practices in agentic automation

• Experience with no-code/low-code automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, - a powerful workflow automation tool ).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) for deploying AI solutions.

• Exposure to agentic frameworks such as LangChain or OpenAI API.

Job Mode: Full Time Onsite

Location: Blue Area, Islamabad.

Salary Range: Depends on experience

Work Hours 11 AM to 8 PM PKT
