Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Taxation, located in Karachi. The Manager Taxation will oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation activities. The incumbent will ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations, manage tax-related documentation, and provide strategic tax advice. The role involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize tax efficiency and compliance.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

  • Expertise in Tax Planning and Tax Compliance
  • Ensure accurate withholding and deposit of taxes on payments to vendors and others
  • Monitor changes in tax laws and assess their impact on the organization
  • Liaise with external tax consultants, legal advisors, and tax authorities
  • Maintain robust internal controls for tax processes
  • Implement and enhance tax-related functionalities in ERP systems.
  • Managing withholding income tax and sales tax payable on monthly basis
  • Filing of Annual income tax returns.
  • Experience in Tax Preparation and Tax Documentation
  • In-depth knowledge of Tax Law and regulations
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • 4+ years of experience with Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred
