Emergency Medical Technician

Purpose:
To provide immediate medical assistance and emergency response services to all employees and visitors at the high-rise office premises. The role ensures adherence to health and safety protocols while promoting a safe and prepared working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Emergency Medical Response:
- Deliver prompt first aid and emergency care in the event of injury or illness on-site.
- Administer CPR, AED, wound care, and basic life support as necessary.
- Evaluate the severity of medical conditions and determine the need for advanced medical attention or evacuation.
2. Medical Readiness & Supplies:
- Regularly inspect and maintain all first aid kits and emergency medical equipment.
- Ensure timely replenishment of medical supplies and monitor expiry dates.
3. Health Surveillance:
- Conduct basic health assessments such as temperature checks and vital sign monitoring.
- Assist in implementing preventive health measures aligned with company wellness initiatives.
4. Reporting & Documentation:
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of all medical incidents and care provided.
- Report major health or safety concerns to the HSE Manager promptly.
5. Training & Awareness:
- Conduct regular first aid and emergency preparedness sessions for staff and building occupants.
- Participate in and support scheduled emergency evacuation and safety drills.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified First Aider / EMT / Paramedic (Registered with relevant health authority)
- Valid CPR and AED certification (or recognized equivalent)
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in emergency medical response or workplace first aid
